Language settings at academy level

Participants can set the language individually or the manager can set the language for the entire academy.

You can set the default language for your academy via Options > Name and Language 

Individual language settings

The language setting of the academy can be "overwritten" in the following cases:

1. A user selects a different language in the academy footer.
2. Participants receive an invitation to a course for which a language other than the one defined at academy level has been selected. For example, if you invite learners to a French course, but the academy is set to German by default, the platform language for the course participants is French.

Tip: Managers can determine which of the 21 languages in the academy can be selected in Setup > Name and Language.

In the course under "Manage Course" > "Course settings"

Please note that the language settings do not affect the language of the course content. The settings apply exclusively to the platform language.
