Search on Fellow Intranet

Fellow Intranet provides a platform-wide search feature, conveniently located in the top navigation bar.

The search engine scans the entire platform, including uploaded content, pages, document titles, and even within documents. Results are displayed based on relevance, ensuring that the most relevant content appears at the top of the list.


Filtering search results

To refine your search, you can filter results using the following options:

  • Type of Items: Narrow your search results by content type, such as documents, pages, or other specific formats.
  • Category: Filter results by content categories, making it easier to find specific types of information.
  • Language: Select a language filter to limit search results to content in a particular language.

By utilizing these filters, users can quickly and efficiently find the content they need on the platform.


Search widgets

Next to the search in the top navigation Fellow Intranet offers the option to add a search widget to a space. Once the widget is added, members can type their search terms directly into the widget. The search can be further refined by applying optional filters such as:

  • Type of items: Narrow down results by documents, pages, or other content types.
  • Category: Filter by content categories to get more specific results.
  • Language: Choose a language filter to search content in a particular language.

The search results will be displayed inline on the same page, allowing users to quickly find the information they need without navigating away.


By using the Search Within a Space feature, members can efficiently locate the content relevant to their needs within a particular space, improving the overall user experience and productivity.
