Random questions in the question pool

Creating a question pool

To test your employees with a set of randomly generated test questions, you can create a module of your course consisting of any number of questions (this is your question pool). As usual, you can access all available question types (e.g. multiple choice or hotspot questions).

Module settings

When you have created all the questions, you must then define your settings. Click "…" "Edit module" to access the settings. Define a number of randomly selected questions in the module settings by choosing how many learning steps the participant has to complete to successfully complete the (question) module.

In this example, 2 questions are defined - you can freely define the number.

If there are 20 questions in this module, each participant will receive 7 of these 20 questions at random.

Tip: If participants have to repeat a course, they will also receive 7 randomly selected questions when they repeat their attempt. This means the questions will not always be the same. This increases the difficulty and makes the course more challenging. The question pool is useful for regular compulsory training.
