It is often necessary to restrict course content so that it is not immediately available to everyone. You define when a module should become available. This is useful when you need make sure that the course content is complete before the final questions can be accessed.
Course modules subject to time-dependent availability
Allow access to a module only at specific times. You have access to the following options:
- Any time: The module can always be called.
- Time frame: Define the period within which the module is available. For example, March 1 to March 31.
- x days after the participant started the course: The module can only be called if the participant has already been in the course for X days.
- x days after the participant has completed the previous module: Participants must wait a specified amount of time after completing a module before the next one becomes available. You can enter 0 days so there is no waiting time.
With module conditions, you can create even more dynamic courses on your online training platform. It also ensures that all content is accessed in the desired sequence.
Duration of course access after enrollment
Click the three dots (...) in a course and go to "Course settings and then "Completion". There you can find the "Automatic Deadline" setting. This allows you to define how long a course participant may have access to the course. If you define 1 day, for example, the participant has access to the course for just one day. After that, the participant no longer has access to the course.
